But also discover Nîmes, la Romaine (20'), the Provencal villages and markets of the Alpilles, Saint-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence (30'), the olive oil trail, from harvest to pressing, fields of olive trees as far as the eye can see, oil mills and in-house tastings.
The Camargue National Nature Reserve (30'), with its black bulls, white horses, pink flamingos and beaches (45'), Uzès, ducal city and capital of the black truffle (35'), the hilltop villages of the Lubéron (45'), Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Venice of the Vaucluse, with its flea markets and traders on the water. Camargue races are held in every village. A traditional sport for the bold and daring, approved by the French Sports Federation. With its schools, championships, male and female stars and prize lists. Races or guided tours in French, English and German can be booked at the Beaucaire Tourist Office.

Loops of 5 and 10 kilometres around the estate. Numerous itineraries along the canal, between vineyards, garrigue and orchards, or on major listed natural sites (the Pont du Gard and the Gardon river gorges, the Camargue national nature park, etc.).
We are at the crossroads of three European cycle tourism routes, including the Via Rhôna linking Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean along the Rhône and the Domaine des Clos with a brand new route: from the Nourriguier lock to the Pont du Gard! Follow the towpaths, the fields, the marshes, the vineyards or climb up to the Pont du Gard... There's something for everyone, with family or friends, the bravest can reach Uzès!
Weather point, maps and guides available at reception. Hire and delivery of all types of bikes (mountain bikes, electric bikes, etc.) to the Domaine, bike garage. Electric recharging point available on request.
From Collias or Remoulins, head down the Gardon gorges and pass under the Pont du Gard! It's a classy river, accessible to all the family, with plenty of places to swim in the clear emerald water, friendly little beaches and an impressive variety of landscapes.
Mas Saint-Germain, Camargue. This is the region, the time to enjoy this activity on your own or with the family. Introductory lessons for the more anxious, for the very young, the pony Zephir is with you to ride on his back and then everyone sets off together to explore. Two hours including horse care.

A friendly reciprocity is active between the Domaine des Clos and the Nîmes Campagne golf course (20'): our golf-loving guests are offered breakfast at the Domaine and a 20% discount on their green fee. Those accompanying them can enjoy the swimming pool and tennis courts. Recognised as one of the finest golf courses in France and Europe, the 18-hole course is set in an exceptional site planted with centuries-old oak and poplar trees and irrigated by the Lamour canal.
